The new annual Freewheeler Bike Passes made their debut on January 1st, 2009. They are a great way to enjoy the fresh air and challenging twists and turns of the Island's 40 miles of roadway open to mountain biking, including the extra added benefits of Conservancy membership. Island residents receive a 25% discount on memberships that now include the Freewheeler Bike Pass.

Each level of membership provides another level of benefits. For example:

  • Friend Level ($35, Students $25) - A cyclist receives an annual Freewheeler Bike Pass, and a subscription to the Conservancy Times.
  • Explorer Level ($65) - A biker receives an annual Freewheeler Pass, unlimited admission for two to the Wrigley Memorial & Botanical Garden, and all the benefits of the Friend Level.
  • Adventurer Level ($125) - Riders receive annual Family Freewheeler Passes, all the benefits of the Explorer Level, unlimited Garden admission for five, a 10% discount at the Explore Store, and more!
