Unleash your inner artist during First Fridays at the Museum! Creativity and fun are at the heart of the Catalina Island Museum's event on Friday, November 3rd from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

For November's First Friday event the Catalina Island Museum has partnered with the Catalina Art Association to provide a Chihuly inspired paint night. Although Dale Chihuly is most well-known for his glass art, he enjoys working in all mediums, including paint. In fact, two of his paintings are included in the museum's current special exhibition Chihuly at the Catalina Island Museum.

Lola Di Miele, president of the CAA, will lead attendees in a step-by-step painting experience. The subject of the painting will be Chihuly's Sea Blue and Green Tower located on the museum's second level. At the end of the evening, participants will leave with a completed painting and a sense of creative accomplishment.

The museum will re-open for this event at 6:00 pm. Painting will begin at 6:30 pm. Only 50 spaces are available. Purchase tickets early to ensure a spot!

Wine, beer, soda and water will be available for purchase. No outside food or drink allowed.
