This silent adventure is the first film adaptation of J.M. Barrie's play entitled, Peter Pan. In the story, Peter Pan was a magical boy who refuses to grow up and brings the Darling children to Neverland. Their adventures include a confrontation with Captain Hook and his crew. Filmed on Catalina Island, Peter Pan has been called "one of the greatest children's films ever made." The Silent Film Benefit provides the rare opportunity to experience cinema the way it was originally intended, with live musical accompaniment by an orchestra in a grand movie palace. Period dress is encouraged and prizes will be awarded to the best dressed individual, best dressed couple and best character from the film. Members $25, Non-Members $28
