Avalon Beautiful's February House of the Month

AVALON, CATALINA ISLAND - John and Karen King, along with their children, bought this plot of land in 2002 and 10 months later they had built themselves a beautiful modern Adobe-style home that can sleep as many as 37 people at once.

In the front of the house you are welcomed with the scent of lavender and a bubbling fountain complete with Japanese Koy. The front door lets all who enter know the Kings have a terrific sense of humor when they see the hanging lifesaver touting "It's Good to be King." The kitchen cabinets and table are made entirely with bamboo. A difficult process to be sure, but with rich results. We think this new addition to Avalon is beautiful!
