Botanical Garden Guided Walk
Location: Wrigley Memorial & Botanical Garden
1 p.m-2 p.m. Free with your admission to the garden. Explore the rich history and unique nature of the Wrigley Memorial and Botanical Gardens. Leaves from the Garden Entrance at 1p.m.

Tile Walking Tour
Location: Catalina Island Museum
Explore Avalon's numerous historic, reproduction, and contemporary tile installations with a knowledgeable Museum Docent as your guide.  Tours begin at the Museum, where you can view our extensive collection of  Catalina tile and pottery and learn about the history of tile manufacturing on the Island before heading out to see the colorful tile installations around town.  The tour is based on the popular book, the Jewels of Avalon by Larry Harris.  Tour averages one hour and is flat, easy walking - wear comfortable shoes (Not recommended for young children.)

Price: $10 Adults, $8 Museum Members and children under 16.
Price includes your Museum admission for the day.

Time: Every Wednesday and Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Reservations are recommended.  Private group tours can be arranged with advanced notice (two- week lead time recommended).

Evening Nature Program
July 8

Whether you are planning to visit Catalina Island or are a long-time resident, the Summer Evening Nature Program series offers a unique opportunity to take a close look at the small treasures and grand vistas of Catalina Island. This is your chance to hear stories of the landscape from naturalists, biologists, and others in from the field. Each unique program will highlight the important work that is being accomplished to help protect and preserve the stunning beauty of Catalina Island. All Summer Evening Nature Programs begin at 7 p.m., and are held at the Nature Center at Avalon Canyon on the second Wednesday in May, June, July, August and September. Free transportation to the Nature Center is provided at 6:30 p.m. in the Transportation Plaza in downtown Avalon. Refreshments will be served. If possible, please bring a reusable cup for coffee or soft drinks. A small donation is appreciated. More information may be obtained by calling: (310) 510-0954.

Jazz Night at the Country Club
